The Georgia Renaissance Festival is a Renaissance fair that recreates England’s renaissance for entertainment purposes. The time period for the festival is set as the 16th century, during the reign of King Henry VIII. The festival is located near Fairburn, Georgia, United States and has been in operation since 1986.

The Festival Main Parking Entrance is located at 6732 Virlyn B. Smith Road, Fairburn, Georgia 30213.

PLEASE NOTE: The Main Entrance to the Festival is the second driveway on the right when coming west on Highway 74 (Virlyn B. Smith Road). Please watch the signs – your GPS may tell you to turn into the first drive, but it is the second drive for our Main Entrance and Guest Parking. Thanks!

About the Event

A Room Of Her Own: Women Studio Artists From AXC’s 40 Year History will be an exhibition of artwork by 25 powerhouse women artists who have, or have had, studios at the ArtsXChange, either in Grant Park or in East Point. The dates of the exhibition are May 4 – June 22, 2024, in the Jack Sinclair Gallery at the ArtsXChange.

 

Hear reflections on the joys, challenges and lessons that come with being a woman pursuing and working in the creative realm. An Artist Talk moderated by Malkia M’Buzi Moore and Lisa Tuttle is planned for 2-5 p.m. Sunday, May 5.
